What do you complain about the most?

Louis Catorze has the whiniest, most irritating voice on this earth. The problem with this is that, when he uses his voice – and he uses it A LOT – we have no idea whether he’s complaining or not. 

Our visitors, upon hearing his screams, often take pity on him immediately, saying, “Aww, poor Louis! What’s the matter?” Erm, nothing. That’s just his normal voice. 

I could post multiple examples of his work, but this video from some years ago was probably the most embarrassing (being out in public) and the loudest. And, no, nothing was wrong:

    When I encounter such a cat while having a walk, I’m accustomed to telling it « Pauvre petit chat, qu’est-ce qui se passe? ». It is useless for the two of us, it is just trying to behave as a good Samaritan 😺.

      There’s something wrong with him, that’s for sure! Although I think this occasion might have been happiness to see me home from work.

    I played the video and Rosie, who was hiding under the armchair in the living room ran to me, wondering what was happening! I explained to her that it was Louis, and that he spoke with a British accent, which is why it sounded so strange 😀 She said “ah” with her tiny, mousy, squeaky voice, and went back into hiding!

    Jenny Cat twitched an ear and immediately went back to her washing. She’s obviously not impressed by the whiny one. Although that sounded remarkably like she does when she’s shouting to wake me up. On that basis maybe he’s shouting just to ensure his tin-opener is still alive.

    He Just wants his Mummy, that’s what he clearly said! This is the difference between him and Merlot, Merlot just gives an assortment of looks and with him having been so poorly lately that includes licking my arm fervently meaning get me water quick cos I can’t go to it myself. He pants like crazy looking worried means get me out quick, I’ve been trying to catch your attention but you didn’t look at me. Him being on the floor and looking at the armchair then back at me, back at the armchair, back at me means pick me up woman I want to sit up there. When I was using the bathroom on the middle of the nighy he needed to use his puppy pad, so stiffly limped over to me and kissed me, walked out and repeated this several times and as soon as I was leaving the bathroom he went to my coat and nodded the hem in the air a couple of times, this wasn’t quite ‘get your coat you’ve pulled’ but get your coat was definitely part of the command
