Je crie, donc je suis

I often ask Cat Daddy if we can have another cat (and he always says no) but, in reality, I know that it probably wouldn’t work. This is not only because Louis Catorze has been the lone sovereign for all his life with us, but also because I couldn’t handle a team of the little bastards arsing about and conspiring against us.

Rodan, who is under house arrest due to Le Cône, managed to escape outside. This happened because his sister, Mothra, upon realising that he wanted to go out, stood by the Sureflap, activating the lock release in the process.

Luckily Rodan didn’t have the brains or the inclination to make the most of it, and came back when he was called (?). But that’s not the point. The point is that having more than one of them can only end badly. So, if you have two or more cats, you’re doomed. But I expect you probably knew that anyway.

Bonnie and Clyde.

So thank God I only have one. Well, perhaps gratitude isn’t the right sentiment. And God probably doesn’t have much to do with it, either.

God has very much forsaken us.

You should never have only one! Two will entertain each other (or kill each other). Twice the fun and twice the cost!

Noooo. It’s like putting two serial-killing cult leaders on the same wing in prison. It just can’t happen!

Marcus and Sabrina are siblings and are pretty well-behaved. But imagine if you got a little innocent kitten, and Louis decided to “train” him…not worth thinking about, is it?

Absolutely not. It would be carnage. (Don’t rule out future bullshittery from your two, though!)

We had three cats once. Zeke was the king of the castle. Pete was a goof who wanted to be friends with the other two. Zoey didn’t like either of them. The most you could say was they got along most of the time.

Hahaha! Was Zeke the first in, or did he seize the throne unlawfully?

First in (1997) and last out (2017). A long reign!

Some years ago, we hosted three female cats at the same time and our most important trouble was each of them got enough to eat 😺😹😺.

Every now and then, we had to add our daughter’s cat to the group and the latter’s behaviour was a bit odd, but it was due to her stress 😾.

Yes, new group members can upset the balance somewhat.

The more the merrier, I think! I’m so pleased Mothra “helped” her brother instead of making fun of his cone. She is a good cat sister.

I doubt she had good intentions. I don’t trust Mothra …

When Chris was young, he would train our other cats how to be bad. They would never think of doing certain things until they saw Chris do them.

The Cone is quite stylish, but as with all things fashionable, cute but must be uncomfortable. As for the prison break attempt out the door, cats channeling human behavior- the escape attempts are always an inside job.

You could get him some minions to train. 🙂
