Un nouveau mode de vie (Partie 14) 

We have big news here at Le Château: Louis Catorze is now about 0.1% less of an arsehole when we administer his thyroid medication. 

We still have to employ the stealth attack method; if he knows it’s coming, it won’t work. Cat Daddy usually grabs him for one of their man-to-man chats, holding him on his lap and politely enquiring about the kind of day he’s had. Catorze listens so intently that he doesn’t hear me sneaking up on him brandishing a finger-condom dosed with Methimazole. Sometimes I can even do the job in one swipe without him even knowing it’s happened. 

It’s still a pain in the arse to do, but it’s far better than having to pin down a writhing, screaming hell-beast. And, since we have to do this twice a day for the rest of his life, we will happily take any scant crumbs of improvement. 

In his freezer bag, scowling at anyone who tries to get him out.

      It belongs to the food bank, and Cat Daddy needs to give it back to them but it’s now Sa Maj’s bed. 😵‍💫

    I know you think Sa Maj is a spawn of Satan, but I prefer to think all cats to be under the benign gaze of St Gertrude, patron saint of cats, gardeners & travellers… Which brings me to my rather bizarre question. I have made a mosaic picture of St Gertrude, holding Sa Maj in her arms. Would you like it as a gift? I’ve tried attaching it as an image but failed miserably, but it’s over on my blog. If you think it’s hideous, and don’t want it, that is absolutely fine!!

      I’ve just seen it! Hahahahaha! I think it’s fabulous! My only question would be how big is it, because Le Château (despite its grand name) is pretty tiny. If we could find space for it, then I would absolutely love it! 🥰
