What is good about having a pet?

I was about to answer this by saying, “Having someone love you unconditionally”, but then I remembered that Louis Catorze couldn’t give a shit whether I live or die.

So, erm, never mind. As you were.

Ouch.

But he snuggles with you! He would miss you…maybe.

I think he does it when he’s cold or bored. 🥱

A dog can love you unconditionally, but it isn’t the case with most of the cats. In the picture you chose, Louis seems to agree with me 🙂.

Dogs definitely do love us. Cats don’t.

That’s what I love about cat, they are independent, they don’t need us to be happy. Dogs are too attached, too needy.

This is true. For this reason I lose a little respect for dogs. 😬

🙂 Dogs would drive me crazy, needing me all the time. Can you imagine Louis as a dog?

I’m sure he likes you more than you think. He just doesn’t want you to know it.

Trust me, he doesn’t. Every time he appears to show us any affection or mild interest, there’s always an agenda.

        Maybe he’s a narcissist. 😁

100% he is! There’s no “maybe” about it!

In that photo Louis reminds me of one of my favorite Christmas characters the Grinch,

Most especially. Lately Ramses has been trying to nail a very stoopid squirrel that insists on coming into the CJ – even tho it clearly sees the cat.

What is good in having Gribouille is that he likes to sleep with me at night, so I don’t get cold…

Do you think he believes that Cat Daddy would be as dutiful in feeding him as you ?

Louis says that you have learned many things from him. Like how to tell a mouse from a rat. 🙂

We have certainly learned plenty from him! Some of it, I wish we could unlearn.
