Le bizarre incident des chats pendant la nuit

Rodan and Mothra thoroughly enjoyed the festive season, when they were surrounded by people, and they have been feeling rather needy since everyone returned to their respective workplaces and schools. 

Here they are, happily snuggled up in their human sister’s bed. But just look at Rodan, on her pillow: 

Cheeky sod(s).

Now, did he see an opportunity when she rolled off the pillow, sneaking silently into position as soon as it was vacated? Or is it possible that he could have … SHOVED HER OFF? (I know, I know, a Chat Noir doing something so dastardly just to benefit themselves is utterly unthinkable, but we have to consider all options here.) 

What do you think, Mesdames et Messieurs? Did Human Sister fall or was she pushed?

    She looks pretty comfy so I thing she rolled off. He is trying to comfort her by staying close by.

    I think he climbed on her pillow and took up so much room that she unconsciously rolled off. Been there,done that.

        I’m afraid, but you sound as if you were imputing motives to Rodan. Have a look at the girl. She is neither under her duvet, nor parallel to the wall.

    I had a cat who used to lie on the pillow and I could feel her bum in the name of my neck gently shoving.

    I can only answer for the Bag of Arse. If I don’t leave him enough space to curl up with his bum in my armpit he gets all stroppy. Generally this will include waking me up. I end up with an 18″ strip down the middle of the bed because Jenny Cat is asleep on the other side of the bed.

    I’m fairly sure that Rodin (gently) shoved her off the pillow.

    I think that if her head was on the pillow, Rodan would have slept on her head. Much warmer, if slightly less comfortable

    Not sure that Rowan had to push his little human sister. Given her position on the bed, I’d guess that contorted herself to give her pillow to her beloved cat brother.

    What I’m suggesting is more pernicious. I do believe Rodan has his human sister trained to contort herself to maximize his comfort every single night. (I speak from experience—my childhood cat did this to me.)
